001. this is a very important rule to us, and a rule that we will strongly enforced. respect all members on this site, especially the admins. we do not want to see any fighting, name calling, racial slurs, back talking to the staff, ect. as long as you follow this rule, you'll be okay. but violations of any kind will not be tolerated, and depending on to what extent you have broken this rule, you will be punished; possibly even banned.
002. we are a literate rp site, and we'd like to keep it that way. this means absolutely no one liners. they're impossible to reply to with a decent post, and they just make the site look bad. here at windsor, we're trying to redefine role playing. quality over quantity is our motto, which is why we are setting a word count of 400-800 words per post; no more, no less. use a word counter to make sure that you're using the proper length. if you fail to meet these standards, you will be warned.
003. windsor is rated PG13-R. what does this mean? sex, drugs, profanity, violence, teen partying, ect., are all a part of this site. so if you are uncomfortable with any of these situations, do not join. you have been warned. also, please include some type of warning in the title of your thread if it contains graphic content.
004. we cannot stress enough how much being active on this site is important. we need everyone here to keep the role play going. un-active members result in a dead site - and of course we don't want that happening. if you are going to be absent from the site for a period of time lasting more than five days, please inform us in the absence board so that we know what's going on. your characters are all highly anticipated, so it would greatly benefit you to post before leaving. otherwise, you risk losing your accounts.
005. when joining us here at loomis, please register with a first and last name, all lower caps. once you have read over everything located in the student handbook, move on to the student registration section of the site. here you will find an application form which must be filled out completely and then 'you're unbelievable' posted under the pending applications board. an admin will then check over your application and either accept or reject. if your character is denied, you will have up to one week to make any corrections or additions, before a staff member will reevaluate your work. finally, when choosing a pb, you may select a celebrity, and a celebrity only. no one from myspace, deviant art, ect.
006. no perfect characters. everyone has their flaws. that's what makes people more interesting. celebrities, runaway royalty, ect, will not be allowed, unless you have recieved approval from an admin. characters breaking into acting, modeling, music, and so on, are fine. basically, just try to be realistic about everything. also, all major changes [i.e. death, terminal illness, pregnancy, marriage] must be approved by an admin before being carried out with a character.
007. right now, there is a limit of five characters per-person. before you make multiple characters, make sure that you can be active with all of them; otherwise you will be asked to get ride of any unused ones. separate accounts must be made for each character. it just makes the site look nicer. also, for every two female characters, the third must be a male.
008. you must have a signature for your character. the maximum size is 350x400. use anything larger and you will be asked to remove it. avatars are not required, but you may have one as well. please refrain from using any graphics on the site that contain nudity or stretch the page.
009. plagiarism will not be tolerated. if we find that you have been copying anyone’s writing, you will be banned. no questions asked.
